A Quick Thought on What Could Have Been: New Day, The Wyatts and The Draft
Tuesday night's draft was certainly intriguing. But maybe the WWE could have added some additional substance and depth to one of their best ongoing feuds.

Parts Unknown's 2016 WWE Big Board
Hey, anyone else hear about the potential brand split coming up? Sure you have. Now, you know what that means, right? Draft!
From the NFL to the NBA (not so much MLB) and now, once again, to WWE--this country is pretty draft-crazy. Maybe it's the fantasy aspect, maybe it's the weeks of buildup or maybe it's just the pure debate aspect of drafts that makes us love it so much.
In any event, a draft will presumably be in the works if WWE is headed towards a schism between their Raw and Smackdown brands. And if that's the case, who goes where and when in the selection process do they go?
Well, here's my shot at it--the Parts Unknown's 2016 WWE Big Board.

Voodoo Booker: WrestleMania 32
Although booking the industry's most illustrious show is a dream scenario for lifelong wrestling junkies, it won't happen for most for you. Why? Because you're not Vincent K. McMahon.
But luckily here, at Parts Unknown, we have a certain method of manipulation. When we want things changed, we recruit the help of Parts Unknown native and local voodoo practitioner Papa Shango. Sweet, huh?
With the magic of voodoo and a few hours before WWE Fastlane kicks off, here's how I'd book WrestleMania 32.

Lunatic on the Fringe of 'Mania's Main Event?: Making the Case for Dean Ambrose
Should the "Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose headline WrestleMania in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Triple H? It's not as crazy as you might think.

1 vs. 29: Should Reigns Be Defending in the Royal Rumble Match?
As announced on last week's edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title against 29 other opponents in the 2016 Royal Rumble match. Is this the right call?

Welcome to Parts Unknown
Bobby Heenan's lofty strut down the aisle of the storied Madison Square Garden wasn't exactly an odd sight for wrestling fans of the 1980's. But what followed certainly was.
"The Brain" was in his usual form. The snazzy two-piece get-up, the neatly fashioned blonde hair and the always familiar look of conviction assured those watching of another typical weasel-esque moment.
As Howard Finkel annunciated the final syllable of Heenan's latest discovery, Heenan signaled to the double doors directly behind him. The bright spotlight, amongst the rather dim surroundings of the arena, hugged the entrance way in anticipation of the mysterious talent.
After a few seconds and a smattering of jeers from the New York crowd, the spotlight remained empty. Heenan, in a state of near disgust, marched back to the doors and guided his seemingly confused client out.
What then appeared was a misplaced character with a remarkably unusual look. His scruffy hair and fu manchu were only the mere surface, as the heavy green and blue face paint served as the creature's most salient feature.
This was The Missing Link.
He helplessly glanced around in countless directions while following the suddenly irritated Heenan down the aisle. But through the unfamiliar environment as well as usual smattering of "Weasel" chants directed towards his manager, the Missing Link finally arrived to the ring and subsequently ripped apart his feeble opponent.
His debut, however, wouldn't mark the beginning of an iconic WWE figure. The Link, rather, served as a pioneer to the future inhabitants from a unique destination we like to call "Parts Unknown."
Soon after The Link's arrival, and somewhat quick departure from the company, a new crop of "Parts Unknown" natives began to hit the scene. Wrestling standouts such as the Ultimate Warrior, Demolition, Papa Shango, Giant Gonzalez and Doink the Clown followed in The Link's path from their hometown to the WWE ring.
And whether that path eventually led to a legendary career or one of a cane and a train of streetwalkers, some of the most notable WWE superstars started in this unidentifiable location.
So to provide the smallest reassurance of this place's existence, the Parts Unknown blog is now officially established.
Welcome and please enjoy your stay.
